Celebrate the art of the everyday with a mug that brings a vibrant piece of Korean heritage to your home. This 313ml (11oz) ceramic mug is inspired by Pojagi, the traditional Korean folk art of creating patchwork wrapping cloths.
Dating back to the Joseon Dynasty, Pojagi (specifically jogakbo) was often created by women using leftover scraps of silk or ramie, turning utility into a geometric masterpiece. This wrap-around design features a striking collage of jewel-toned squares and trianglesvibrant pinks, deep teals, mustard yellows, and earthy plumsseparated by the delicate “seams” characteristic of this ancient craft. It is a perfect blend of high-contrast modernism and 19th-century tradition.
A Cultural Icon: A beautiful reproduction of the “Jogakbo” patchwork style, symbolizing luck and happiness in Korean culture.
Vivid Color Palette: High-definition printing ensures the bold, multi-coloured geometric tiles remain sharp and brilliant.
Modern Minimalist Appeal: While its roots are historic, the clean lines and bold colours fit perfectly in a Scandi or contemporary kitchen.
Effortless Care: Built for life, not just for display. This mug is fully dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
