Writing Comfort Designed for Your Eyes
The Hobonichi Notebook A5 Lined combines premium Tomoe River paper with a unique line design developed through design psychology to make writing easier on the eyes. The notebook opens completely flat and offers a comfortable, distraction-free writing experience, whether youre taking notes, journaling, or studying.
At 10mm thick with 288 pages, this A5 notebook gives you plenty of room for extended writing sessions. Because it shares the same dimensions as the Hobonichi Techo Cousin, it can also be paired with a Techo cover for extra protection and convenience.
The innovative ruling pattern was created by Professor Haruo Hibino and his research team at Chiba University. The lines are subtly interrupted by short vertical marks that create a gentle gridan optical design that looks like straight lines but reduces visual strain. The result is a patented layout that supports focus, flow, and long-term comfort.
